We serve families who have been touched by many types of violence. Having served as social workers and as mentors, we have knowledge and experience in providing an holistic approach to address basic needs such as clothing, food, and referrals to other community resources.
Our primary purpose and mission is to help clients transform from hopelessness to become a stable and productive member of society.
Our goal is to assist those in our community to find employment and self-sufficient housing, as well as giving and modeling compassion and love through Spiritual discovery and a genuine understanding of personal relationships.
Our programs strive towards conducting outreach, encouraging community connections and
guidance within Delaware's three counties: New Castle, Kent, and Sussex County.
Our mission primarily is to aid women through their youth and as they advance in their senior years in their spiritual, personal growth, and professional development. We will also provide holistic solace to the family as a whole to help build their confidence and guide them through challenges as they move forward in life for overall social and economic sustainability.
To commit to be a positive role model and mentor as we emulate the values of Christ, by being a forward-looking influence, frequently advocating on behalf of their families in the community and surrounding areas, and helping them reach their full potential in life.
We will assist those recovering from economic hardship resulting from a multitude of reasons. The house of transition is named after Madeline Coopers , Ray Coopers' mother .This program will provide resources that will allow our clients to live a safe and productive life. Our program may or may not have other common threads among clients or other community programs.
Our virtual program will also maintain an atmosphere where a familial-type relationship is developed between the clients and volunteers. At the moment due to COVID-19, this house will not provide shelter, but will direct those who need shelter.
This part of our non- profit was named after Alice Dailey, Annette Cooper's mother. Dailey was disabled, but active in her church and the community. Using an enclosed trailer, we serve those that need food, disabled and homeless. We also have holiday and pop-up food drives.
Below you will see different food drives: These food donations are done every Christmas and Thanksgiving along with pop-up donations. Pop-ups meaning we may call one day offering food and ask if would you like to receive some today.
